Dear HP Pipeline Athlete,

I am emailing to invite you to an upcoming USA Volleyball National High Performance Indoor Tryout. We are scheduled to conduct 42 tryouts across the country to ensure everyone has an opportunity to attend. Tryouts will start Feb. 12 and run through April 29.

As you make your tournament travel arrangements, be sure to consider the affiliated tryout. Attending typically only requires an earlier departure or later return flight to participate. Three of the tryouts below are "Tentative." We are working to add these tryouts to the schedule to better suit athletes in the proximity of the tryout. These same locations are typically large tryouts; our hope is that these additional days help balance the participant volume. Please continue to check our Web site for the most current tryout schedule.

Last year, the introduction of our Continental Team Program afforded 100 more athletes the opportunity to compete at our HP Championships. We will again offer this program to complement the Region HP Programs and increase the number of additional athletes invited to 130.

As you know, USAV HP Indoor Programs are age specific and tiered to place athletes in the most effective training environment. The age groups are determined by athlete's year of birth (based on the FIVB). This is the first of a two-year cycle. Age groups are as follows:

-Girls' Select: Athletes born 1996-1997 up to 1999

-Girls' Youth: Athletes born 1994-1995

-Women's Junior: Athletes born 1992-1993

-Junior & Youth National Team (WJNT & GYNT) = $0 - USAV Covers All Costs

-Junior A2 (WJA2), Youth A1/A2 (GYA2), Select A1 (GSA1) = $1175 + Travel to Location

-Continental Teams (GCT) = $975 + Travel to Location

-Select A2 Program (GSA2) = $600 + Travel to Location

-A3 Camps (GA3) = $600 + Travel to Location

-Training Camps (GTC) = $600 + Travel to Location

-Development Camps (GDC) = $600 + Travel to Location
